As you pull out your winter clothes, please set aside unwanted sweaters, coats and blankets so that I can help deliver them to Atlanta’s homeless. As our temperatures start to dip, those living on the streets need warm clothing. I’m making it easy because you simply bring donated items to my house. I’ll sort them to make handing them out in downtown Atlanta easy for volunteers.
Come by on either of these days to drop your donated items. I’ll be outside with donuts and coffee so drive up and get a treat.

ABOUT THE CHARITY: Atlanta Georgia Street MinistryI found out about this grassroots group when I met Jennifer about three years ago. I was struck by how passionate she is about helping people living on the street. This is a small, informal charity that provides hot home cooked meals on weekends to homeless in downtown Atlanta. Last winter I received enough to fill my car to the gills for her crew to take down. She had the donations in the hands of people who need them quickly and it made such a difference. I’d love for us to have a two or more car loads this year. Let’s make that happen! Thanks in advance for your donations of sweaters, coats and blankets to Atlanta’s homeless. Reach out to me at 404-784-4014 if you cannot make the drop off times. |
