Alex Helton is a real estate professional who works in the Atlanta Metro, primarily on the east side of I-85, across Decatur, Tucker, Stone Mountain, and beyond.

Alex became a REALTOR in 2023 with the hope that decades of marketing and project management experience might allow her to connect with more people in a meaningful way. She embraces the idea that by focusing on the need of her clients, she can make a difference for buyers and sellers at any price point.

OWNING CHANGED EVERYTHING

Alex grew up as the only child of a single mother in the 1970s, when housing discrimination felt somewhat the norm. She and her mother frequently had to move between apartments in Minneapolis, where she grew up, because they were at the mercy of the landlords who allowed children in the building.

In fact, an early memory is of being prepped by her mother her before they went to meet with a landlord. She told Alex how important that the landlord be convinced that this 10 year old wasn’t noisy so that he would make an exception and rent to them.

Alex bought her first house while still single. She witnessed firsthand how empowering it felt to learn new skills and become more resourceful while she also was able to improve her downstream financial choices.
